The chimney of the Trbovlje Power Plant, built in 1976 to reduce pollution in the Sava Valley, now offers an unforgettable view of the green heart of Zasavje. You can experience this view through virtual reality glasses at the base of the chimney, as climbing the 360-meter structure is not permitted. The tour also includes a visit to the generator, which once produced one-tenth of Slovenia’s electricity, and to the control room, where the plant’s operations were managed using more than two hundred buttons and switches.

Whether you’re a small team or a large gathering, our guided tours are perfect for groups of 8 to 50 participants ages 7 and up.
Our tours last 75 minutes for groups up to 15 people, and 90 minutes for larger groups, giving everyone plenty of time to explore and enjoy.
Getting here is easy—our tour starts at a car-accessible location. For guests with mobility challenges, we offer a specially adapted shorter version so everyone can enjoy the experience.
